~Thanksgiving Thank You’s

Thank you for the Sun, as it rises each new day.
Thank you for the warmth, I feel on my face.
Thank you for your Son, He taught us how to pray.
Thank you for His love, and sweet redeeming grace.

Thank you for Great Men who founded this Nation.
Thank you for their example, of how we should be.
Thank you for the beauty, in all of Thy Creation.
Thank you for hearing prayer, we give on bended knee.

Thank you for the Rainbows, in remembrance of the flood.
Thank you for the fresh new smell, we get after rain.
Thank you for our Savior, who ransomed us with his blood.
Thank you for the Comforter, who takes away our pain.

Thank you for your mercy, in protecting this great Land.
Thank you for our Freedoms, which others do not know.
Thank you for our agency, it is just as we had planned.
Thank you for our trials, that help us learn and grow.

Thank you sincerely, from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for believing in me, in all I have to say.
Thank you for your trust in me, I will do my part.
Thank you for a thankful heart, on this Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving Proclamation

~American Patriot’s 2011 Thanksgiving Proclamation
George Washington's 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation
Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; and Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to "recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:"
Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.
And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.

Given under my hand, at the city of New York, the 3d day of October, A.D. 1789.

American Patriot’s 2011 Thanksgiving Proclamation

Whereas it is the duty of every red-blooded American Patriot to acknowledge the Hand of Almighty God in guiding this country’s Founding Fathers.  Righteous men who recognized with grateful hearts, the Divine grace which was given to this country as it was formed.  This Land was granted unto our Forefathers as a Land of Promise, to be a Land of Religious Freedom.  That it’s people may be able to worship, who, what or how they may, without persecution.

Whereas… by unanimous consent, both Houses of Congress should grant its citizens the same religious freedom as was granted to our predecessors and become once again, “United” in acknowledging Almighty God.  That censorship of His name cease among our individual States.  That… the only laws that should be enacted, be those that protect the Citizens of this Country from those that will use the law, and system of Government for personal gain.  That, those laws continue to acknowledge God’s hand in our lives, and that we may always remember by whose power and Grace we remain FREE.

Now, therefore, I do recommend that we as Patriot’s hold ourselves accountable to God Himself.  That our actions and our votes will be for the good of the Country, and that we govern our lives in a manner that will be Pleasing unto our Benefactor that blessed us with this Land of Inheritance for religious freedom and liberty.  We shall watch and clean those from office, by the power of our collective votes; all those that seek to abuse their office.  We shall stand firm in our resolve to hold our elected officials accountable for their actions.   We shall remove them from office, without pay or severance, when the public trust which they had been granted is broken.

Let us return back to a Government of Wise, Just and Honest Citizens that will be a blessing upon all those that have elected them to office.  Let the Shout be heard across this Country that “WE THE PEOPLE” have a voice and will be heard.  The Silent Majority shall rise up with such a cry for justice that God will hear from the Heavens.  I for one will demand Justice, Resolve to do what is Right, and acknowledgement of Our Creator, as well as, the willingness to follow HIS laws in governing their actions by ANY public official.  Let God know that WE have not forsaken HIM, lest He forsake us for being ungrateful.

HE alone, knows what is best and I trust in His judgments in my actions and desire to follow His lead, He wishes us to be happy and enjoy life.  As our First President stated…so shall I, “He alone, knows what is best”…

Let us all have, “Thanks in Giving” and remember from where we came, how we got here, and where we desire to end up.

Standing on a Soapbox

~Standing on a Soapbox

There is a person, in the very town in which you live, that stands at the crossroads of the busiest street there is.  People walk by each and every day and ignore this man, for he is dressed in rags and looks as if he has not bathed in months.  He has sadness in his eyes for those that actually take a moment to look at him.  His sign is placed near his milk crate, upon which he stands reads, “Love one Another”.

Everyday he is there, and those that pass him by don’t give him a second look.  Those that draw near him, hear him softly say, “The day is upon us, turn your hearts unto the Lord”.  He does not ask for money, or food, simply to cast away desires for the riches of the world.  He has been at every major city in years past, preaching repentance and a remembrance that God is in control, and is displeased at how we place importance on the vain things of this World.

His message has changed, for the Days of our Probation are past.  The day speedily cometh when our treasures will slip by and we will not be able to grasp them.  Yea they will become slippery and elusive; we will not be able to find them when we seek them.  We have not buried up our treasures unto the Lord, but in our pride hid them up unto ourselves.  How oft have we seen someone in need or in worse circumstance than ourselves and we failed to give aid?  Now is the time when All shall be equal, and those that turned up their noses shall find themselves beggars in the street.

The man that was ignored never spoke anything contrary to the Gospel of God.  He just reminded us of the plain and simple truths that have been written by the Holy Prophets.  There have always been those that mocked Him and chased him from their Cities.  False Prophets and Pastors that preach for money have tried to degrade and vilify him for his preaching of the truth.  One must ask themselves… why would anyone claiming to be of the cloth, have to ridicule and attempt to turn their congregation against anyone that speaks Gospel principles?

In their efforts to keep their congregation loyal to their cause it can be said that, they are fearful of losing tithes and offerings.  Is this, what was foretold when God said, “There will be many that preach for power and riches”?  How can clergy condemn an individual or religion when it teaches love, obedience to the Gospel and other eternal principles?  O Ye wicked and perverse generation, how long must our Lord hold back His fierce anger?

Samuel, is the name of the man on the soapbox, he watches the apathy that has taken root in the people of this land.  His eyes are tearful for he has done as commanded and tried to make people realize the folly of their ways.  He has labored his whole life in service of the Lord and God he loves, it can be said that he also loves his fellow brothers and sisters as deeply.  He is also deeply saddened, for there have been so very few… that would listen to his prophetic words.  Now that day of reckoning is nigh at hand.  Where do YOU, stand?  Where do you place those things you hold most dear?  Love one Another…

A Nation Mourns

~A Nation Mourns

America, America, from Sea to shining Sea.
This country, that I Love, was given to You and Me.

I’ll Fight, and even Die, to defend Her Faithfully.
I have lived, My whole Life, with a Title of Liberty.

All My People, they have faced, extreme Adversity.
From Father to Son, Father to Son, We pass down our History.

West of the Mississippi, is where We were told to Be.
The Trail of Tears, Taught a Lesson, for All who will See.

Jackson/Van Buren, with an Army…Forcefully moved the Cherokee.
With One Vote, we began a march, which started in Tennessee.

With No Clothes, and No Food, We truly were in Need.
We walked a Thousand Miles, and the Trail…It did Bleed.

We learned to Watch, the Men who Lead, the Country from D.C.
We see the Writings, on the Wall, from Our own History.

Honest Politicians, are Few and Far Between.
The Self-Serving Congress, it Picks the People Clean.

Although I Mourn, as I watch, the Paths this Country takes.
Our Future will be, of our Choosing, by the Choices we do make.

My Fathers, Fathers, Fathers, really Truly Loved this Land.
I have a Family, I teach my Children, that We must make a Stand.

The Cleaning and the Cleansing, of our House, is Over-Due.
Our Fathers feared a Government, Empowered by a Few.

Rise up my Sons, and my Friends, Choose your Vote Righteously.
We must Not, Repeat the Past, as it did in Tennessee.

My Blood is Red, White, and Blue, we Share in Destiny.
Our Family Tree, it will Show, a Common Ancestry.
